We exported two Weimaraner Long Hairs to Germany. This is such a challenge! The paperwork,
the worry the red tape...but we certainly learned alot! We thank German contact Gerhard Eiben for all of his help and
support, and Deborah Andrews of USA for her assistance & friendship.
Tanja Breu-Knaup had Longweis Dmind Duchess who they named "Exa". Unfortunately
nature had it that Exa contracted a strain on meningitis in Germany & they lost her at a young age. We were all extremely
devastedted. We have stayed in close contact with Tanja & her family who we really got to know so very well. Exa will
be sadly missed, but never forgotton. We hope to be seen as a kennel of high morals, and though it was to no fault of our
own we will send the next available Weimaraner Long Hair bitch of quality for Tanja to go on with. We feel this is the least
we can do for Tanja & our German contacts. We thank Tanja & her family for ther wonderful support.
Our other German export Longweis Dmind N Pearls was called "Aussie". Aussie originally
went to veterinarian Dr Harmut Breaustetd. Harmut as all Germans have extremely high levels of breeding quality. Aussie's
hip score was slightly low for the German standards however here in Australia we see many dogs of her levels still being bred
with. We accept the German standards and understand ttheir importance. Aussie was rehoused with Thomas & Ingrid Klintworth
of Germany where she is an amazing hunter & very much loved member of their family. We thanks Harmut & Thomas for
all that they have done with Aussie.
