In the beggining:- When I was young I once saw
a grey dog that had spooky eyes. I was quite taken with its colour and its lovely nature. Though I couldn't pronounce its
name, I do remember thinking that one day I would like to own one just like it...and that I did. In 1994 I owned my first
Weimaraner 'Chloe'. Chloe was a rescue bitch, which mean s that I gave her a home when she was in need. Chloe was typical
to the breed. She was very loyal, adoring and an absolute pleasure to live with. As I was only priveledged to have spent the
last two years of Chole's life with her I became attached to the breed and what it has to offer- I couldn't live without a
Wei, so I ventured after another to fill the void. I owned another Weimaraner bitch called 'Chantres', who once again had
all of those special Wei traits. She was so special she was only to share a short part of her life with me and again I was
at a loss. I then went to an open show and met my first Weimaraner Long Hair. I was quite taken with their fantastic looks
and soft features. They also seemed a little more placid than the Weimaraners, so I began to find out more about the variety.
